THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE LAND...

So I thought it would be fitting to feature a photo of a band that lead me on this path of being a professional concert photographer. The hottest band in the land... KISS!
As a kid, I would dream of being in the band KISS, and as an adult, photographing them from the pit is the closest thing to that reality. To say that these guys were my idols would be an understatement. I've carried around, for a lifetime, a crate of vinyl that housed my KISS collection from my childhood. Soooo every time I have had the chance to photograph them, it is an incredible honor for me.
This particular shot was taken during a salute to our Service men & women. To be able to capture this image of the band, is special to me because it's not the typical image you are used to seeing of the band.
When I was a kid, I never thought being a concert photographer was a job or a career. All I knew then was that I wanted to be around music. I am so grateful to do this as a profession and to be involved with musicians and all the awesome people involved in the music industry. So as the band salutes the troops, I, salute you!

Life in the Bubble... bringing back the CUP!

Game one of the Stanley Cup Finals - Life in the Bubble...
It is a far different world we live in since we were in the finals of the Stanley Cup two decades ago. With the arena at only 25% capacity, we were a small crowd compared to what is normal, but there was no shortage of enthusiasm and Stars pride.
Social distancing and face coverings are now apart of our everyday lives and even though there will not be a home ice advantage, we are overjoyed to be back in the FINALS!

GO STARS!
You've seen our faces in the pit, around the venue and in the action. These are the images we create capturing the rush of the show. We will be getting further in-depth about some of our favorite images and the story behind them. Til then, enjoy the video!

Welcome to the World Miss Lilly Ann
This past weekend we had the privilege of capturing miss Lilly Ann. She was truly an angel. She came into this world on August 3,2020 and weighed 8Ibs 5oz and 20.9 inches long. Congratulations to Lauren and Brett. They are going to be great parents. Her room is filled with Barbie colors and Barbie art work. She is going to be surrounded with lots of love.
We shot using a Sony A7iii with a 24-70f2.8 and one single mono light with large soft box.

So some of you out there have had the opportunity to sample these - this is part of what takes place during the production of these delicious baked goods. Jamie has always been busy in the kitchen when she has time and these are always on the top of my list. I thought it would be nice to share part of the process - ENJOY!
